For the 8th time the Stiftung Christop Delz Foundation has awarded CHF 30'000.– for its Year of Experience Scheme. The jury (Regina Irman, Nadir Vassena, and Michel Roth) has chosen the project of composer Alberto Barberis (Vacallo/TI).

6th Composition Prize
Ansgar Beste is the winner of the Sixth Composition Competition sponsored by the CHRISTOPH DELZ FOUNDATION in collaboration with the LUCERNE FESTIVAL (2015). The prizewinning work, «In the steppes of Sápmi» for (prepared) choir a cappella, will be premiered within the program of the LUCERNE FESTIVAL on 13 September 2015 by the SWR Vocal Ensemble Stuttgart under the direction of Marcus Creed.

Thomas Amann wins the 5th Competition for Composers 2012 sponsored by the CHRISTOPH DELZ FOUNDATION in collaboration with the LUCERNE FESTIVAL (2012). The prizewinning work, Les jeux / Les Poupées, will be premiered within the program of the LUCERNE FESTIVAL on 9 September 2012 by the basel sinfonietta under the baton of Peter Eötvös.

For the 6th time the Stiftung Christop Delz Foundation has awarded CHF 30'000.– for its Year of Experience Scheme. The jury (Béatrice Zawodnik, Germán-Tóro-Perez, and Michel Rot) has chosen the project of composer Isabel Klaus (Basel).

4th Composition Prize
Luis Antunes Pena, Tiziano Manca, and Fabien Lévy are the finalists of the Christoph Delz Foundation's 2009 fourth Composition Competition. The ensemble recherche will premiere the works «Defining» by Tiziano Manca and «À propos» by Fabien Lévy at the Lucerne Festival on 19th September 2009.
