Third Composition Competition 2006

Hans Thomalla (Germany) and Michael Pelzel (Switzerland) are the winners of the Christoph Delz Foundation's 2006 Third Composition Competition worth 50,000 Swiss francs. The two award-winning works, «Stücke Charakter» and «..Danses oniriques..» for chamber ensemble, will be premiered by the celebrated Ensemble recherche at the «Music of the 21st Century» Festival in Saarbrücken on 19 May 2006.

Sam Hayden wins the 2nd Competition for Composers
The prize-winning composition “«Sunk Losses»” for Orchestra and Two Pianos was premiered in Saarbrücken on 29th May 2003 as part of the festival “«Musik im 21. Jahrhundert»”. Johannes Schöllhorn conducted the Saarbrücken Radio Symphony Orchestra.

1st June 2000
Nora Elsa Ponte wins the 1st Competition for Composers
The prize-winning composition “«Trace»” for Piano and Orchestra was premiered in Saarbrücken on 1st June 2000 as part of the festival “«Musik im 21. Jahrhundert»”. Stefan Litwin was the soloist and Bradley Lubman conducted the Saarbrücken Radio Symphony Orchestra
